In addition to being a three-time Olympic champion, the former gymnast also won the title of world (seven times) and European champion (four times).
It should be noted that Alexander Dityatin won three gold, four silver and one bronze medal at the 1980 Summer Olympic Games in Moscow. He is the only gymnast in history to win eight medals in one competition.
