"We played well as a team, created many scoring opportunities and won an important victory. Now our whole focus is on the return match in Finland".
These words were said by Timoteusz Puchacz, a player of "Sabah".
The Polish defender commented on the victory over the Finnish club "KuPS" with a score of 1:0 in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. He stated that his team played well, created many scoring episodes and won a deserved victory.
"We fought well and got the result we wanted. But that's already in the past. Now we need to focus on the return match. We always try to be the team that controls the game on the field. I believe that we will be able to do this away as well and advance to the next stage", - he said in an interview with futbolinfo.az.
The wing player also emphasized that they do not approach the return match with confidence:
"I never go out onto the field with confidence. My goal in every game is to win. In such tournaments, even the smallest carelessness can be expensive. This can be compared to boxing. A momentary lapse in the ring can result in a blow from the opponent. The same rule applies in football, you need to be maximally focused until the end".
