Neftchi's women's team will play their first game in the 2026/2027 UEFA Champions League season.
Idman.Biz reports that the team, led by coach Siyaset Asgarov, will face Montenegrin club Buducnost in the first qualifying round of the tournament.
The semifinal match of the first group will start at 12:00 Baku time at the Veria stadium in Greece.
Note that the winner of the pair will face the winner of the PAOK (Greece) - Hapoel (Jerusalem, Israel) duel in the final. The winning team will advance to the second qualifying round.
