Former NBA star Charles Barkley has expressed his surprise that Los Angeles Lakers leader LeBron James only started being interested in golf now. The veteran basketball player said that he has been playing golf for many years and considers this sport an important part of his life.
"I don't understand why it took LeBron so long. Golf is the most interesting thing I've ever seen in my life. I was getting tired of basketball because the season is very intense. I needed a break. But I never feel tired in golf," Barkley said on "The Smylie Show" podcast.
According to him, the appeal of this sport lies precisely in its diversity: "Each field is different from the other, each day brings something new. That's why golf is really fascinating."
