New elections at the Azerbaijan Golf Federation: Rauf Khalilov re-elected as president

A general meeting of the "Azerbaijan Golf Federation" Public Union was held on April 8.

Idman.Biz reports that the event, held in the administrative building of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, began with the singing of our National Anthem. Farid Gayibov, Minister of Youth and Sports, addressed the event, greeted the meeting participants and wished them success.

Rauf Khalilov, President of the "Azerbaijan Golf Federation" Public Union, spoke and emphasized the importance of the work done for the development of this sport. Later, a report on the work done by the "Azerbaijan Golf Federation" Public Union during 2022-2025 was presented. After the issues on the agenda were approved, the issue of approving the new edition of the Charter of the Public Union was discussed and adopted in the new edition as a result of voting.

Elections to the federation leadership were also held at the meeting. Based on the results of the voting, Rauf Khalilov was elected president of the federation for the next 4 years, Zakir Ibrahimov and Anar Azimov were elected vice-presidents, and Kamran Gasimov, Zaur Ibrahimov and Kamal Ibrahimov were elected members of the Board. Elections were also held for the Supervisory and Audit Commission. Afag Zeynalova was elected chairman, and Nigar Ibrahimova and Samaya Rasulzadeh were elected members.
