Prominent Russian football expert Haji Hajiyev will work at Uzbekistan's "Kazalkent" club. According to Sport24.az, this was reported by "Eurasia Football".
While the parties have reached an agreement on cooperation for the upcoming season, the 80-year-old coach has already started working at "Kazalkent". He is familiarizing himself with the team's structure, training processes, and the development system of the players. His role in the club will assume a full-scale nature starting from the 2027 season.
One of Hajiyev's main goals will be to establish a young player preparation system, as well as to work with "Kazalkent"'s coaching staff to improve their professional expertise.
It is worth noting that "Kazalkent" is one of the new private projects in Uzbek football. The club, first established in 1993, had ceased operations after playing in the Uzbek First League for several seasons. Official information regarding the club's revival was announced on December 19, 2025.
