Statement from Qarabağ footballer: "The title fight will be between three teams"

"It was a very good and tense match." Reports from Sport24.az state that these words were said by Qarabağ player Jali Maaddi.

The midfielder shared his thoughts about the goalless draw with Sabah away in the IX round of the A Premier League:

"Maybe we were closer to the victory. The opponent also played a good game. In general, Sabah is a good team. We can be proud of the game we showed. I hope that we can win in the next match against them".

The French footballer also commented on the fact that no goals were scored in the duel between the teams competing for the championship:

"You need to look at how many goals the teams score in other matches. I think that both teams defend very well and perform well in the game without the ball. That is why no one could score. We also do not concede many goals against other teams. Sabah does the same".

Maaddi stated that he thinks the fight for the championship will be between two teams. Although he said that one of these teams is Qarabağ, he did not reveal the name of the other:

"I do not think that the title fight will be between these three teams. Two clubs will compete until the end. That is, I think one of our rivals will follow the pace. The competition will go between us and another team. I think the fight for the title will be determined by our and that team's matches against other rivals".
