The 'Ballon d'Or', one of the most prestigious individual awards in world football, attracts the attention of the football community every year. Azerbaijani fans also want to watch one of the key events of world football.
In this regard, İdman.Biz (Sport.Biz) has contacted the CBC Sport, Public TV, and Sport TV channels, which might be likely to broadcast the 70th 'Ballon d'Or' ceremony.
During the investigation, it became clear that none of these channels plans to livestream one of the main events of world football. Although 'Quest Media' is listed as the official distributor of the broadcast rights in Azerbaijan on UEFA's official website, it appears that none of the local TV channels have obtained the broadcasting rights.
Thus, according to current information, it will not be possible to watch the ceremony via an official TV stream in Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the 70th 'Ballon d'Or' ceremony will be held at the 'London Palladium' theater in London. The event is scheduled to begin at 23:59 Bakı time in the early hours of October 27.
