Former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher has named the drivers his nephew Mick could overtake.
Idman.Biz reports that Ralf also recalled the tests that the Alpine team conducted with Mick and Jack Doohan.
"To be honest, these tests were something of a joke, I mean, the way they were organized. The goal was clear. Any driver knows that the Le Castellet track is two and a half, sometimes three seconds faster in the morning than in the afternoon. They put Jack behind the wheel in the morning and Mick in the afternoon.
I don't want to dwell on it now, but if we look at the careers of the drivers currently in Formula 1... I think Mick would definitely perform better than Tsunoda.
I know Frans (Tost) would agree with me now, Mick is stronger than Liam Lawson. Colapinto got off to a great start, but couldn't keep it up.
So I would say that all three drivers, in my opinion, are weaker than Mick, even significantly weaker.
They will say again that "I am his uncle", but nevertheless, I think that the team leaders were wrong not to trust him", - Ralf said.
