British Mercedes driver George Russell has shared happy personal news with the public.
İdman.Biz reports that the 28-year-old driver proposed to his girlfriend, Carmen Montero Mundt, during the summer break. The couple announced their engagement on social media with romantic photos.
Russell and Carmen have been in a relationship since 2020. They met in London through a mutual acquaintance. Carmen has often accompanied Russell in the Formula 1 paddock in recent years and has been by his side during race weekends.
Note that Russell is currently continuing to fight for the championship in the 2026 Formula 1 season and will return to the Mercedes cockpit after the summer break.
