Seven-time Formula 1 champion and "Ferrari" driver Lewis Hamilton is considering buying a team in the "MotoGP" championship.
İdman.biz reports that the decision is related to the expected rise of the series after the championship was acquired by Liberty Media. According to "Autosport", Hamilton is studying four teams that may be put up for sale.
"Parties representing Hamilton and Max Verstappen have contacted all private teams to express their interest in acquiring them," said one team director.
Earlier, Max Verstappen had stated his interest in buying a team in "MotoGP".
Currently, a deal with "Tech3" is excluded, and the factory teams of "Honda", "Yamaha", "Ducati", "KTM" and "Aprila" are not for sale. "TWG Motorsports", which owns the "Cadillac" team in Formula 1, supports Hamilton's intention to enter "MotoGP".
