Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has assessed Ferrari's performance in pre-season testing in Barcelona.
Idman.Biz reports that the 41-year-old British driver stated in a statement to RacingNews365 that he is generally satisfied with the team's current situation.
"When you come to testing, you always hope to do more laps. For example, I did 85 laps in the morning session, which is great. This is the result of the great work of all the people working at the base. They have done a lot of serious work on the reliability of the car, at least at this stage," Hamilton emphasized.
Comparing it to the previous season, the British driver added that the tests started more unsuccessfully for Ferrari the previous year. According to him, the situation is much better this time against the background of the new regulations, and he hopes that this trend will continue.
