Former Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko spoke about four-time world champion Max Verstappen.
Idman.Biz reports that Marko believes Verstappen has already gained extensive experience.
"Of course, I am always ready to help him. But Max is a four-time world champion and has become one of the best drivers in the world during this time. He doesn't need advisors. Max doesn't particularly need me right now. He knows a lot, has achieved a lot and has gained extensive experience. I believe we will see him achieve more success," Marko told RacingNews365.
He added that the chassis and engine rules will change next season: "Red Bull" will produce its own power unit for the first time. Of course, this is a serious step and full of risks. But together with Dietrich Mateschitz we operated under the motto "No fun without risks." Making engines ourselves is a very labor-intensive and expensive process. Problems may arise, but so far everything has gone very well."
