"Racing Bulls" team driver Isack Hadjar spoke about his broken trophy after stepping onto the podium at the Dutch Grand Prix.
"To be honest, I don't even know where my trophy, my broken trophy, is. I think the team picked it up. Yes, both parts. I don't know what happened, but I'll get a new one - I know that. But I need the broken trophy. The question is, where is it. The new one doesn't matter - it's not part of my Grand Prix history. I need the broken trophy. It's part of my way to the podium. The new one won't smell like champagne," said Hadjar.
Idman.biz reports that Hagar broke his first trophy while posing with it for the traditional team photo. When the French pilot placed the trophy he won on the asphalt, its lower part suddenly broke off - probably because Hagar was holding the trophy by its thinnest part.
It should be noted that Hadjar became the first driver of the "Red Bull" junior program to finish one of the stages of his debut season in Formula 1 in the top 3.
