Mercedes' British driver George Russell, who is competing for the championship with his 19-year-old teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli, said that he is not worried about falling behind the Italian driver and is confident in his own strength.

"To be honest: I only consider myself my biggest rival. I have done so for the last seven years of my Formula 1 career. I know that if I achieve all my goals, I can beat everyone. It was the same last year when I was teammates with Kimi, and a year before that when I was teammates with Lewis [Hamilton]. I'm not looking for an advantage over others. I try to maximize my potential by working with engineers, setting up the car and choosing the right tires. I know that if I achieve all these goals, I can win. That is my goal," said George Russell.
