From next season, the spending limit for "Formula-1" teams will be increased from 135 million dollars to 215 million dollars.
Idman.biz reports that this decision is related to preparations for the new technical regulations that will come into force in 2026.
The limit for the "Audi" team, which will debut in the tournament on the Sauber base, will be slightly higher. The reason is that salaries in Switzerland are higher compared to competitors located in Great Britain and Italy.
At the same time, the previous exceptions remain in force: the salaries of the pilots and the expenses of the team's three highest-paid employees are not included in the budget limit.
Federico Lodi, FIA Financial Regulations Director, said that this is not an increase in capital, but simply an update of the calculation method.
