Marshal registration for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2026 has started.
Idman.Biz reports that the Baku City Circuit (BCC) Operating Company has informed about this.
It was noted that the race, which will be held on September 24-26, is marked by the 10th anniversary of Azerbaijan's hosting in the Formula 1 calendar, and volunteers joining the marshal program to celebrate this special stage will become an integral part of a unique and historic race.
An opportunity has been created for everyone who wants to feel the atmosphere of the Formula 1 race, which is considered the pinnacle of speed and adrenaline, from the closest point to the track. People over the age of 21 and living in any country of the world can join the marshal program.
The Azerbaijan Automobile Federation will award participants who successfully complete the marshal program with an international official marshal license recognized by the International Automobile Federation (FIA). This license allows marshals to participate not only in Formula 1 Grand Prix and other motorsport competitions held in Azerbaijan, but also in various countries around the world.
It should be noted that during the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix held last year, about 1,200 marshals participated in the safe and successful organization of the race, and more than 100 of them came from foreign countries.
