Formula 1 boss Stefano Domenicali has not ruled out shortening the distance in main races.
Idman.biz reports that currently this distance is close to 300 km.
"Existing races may seem too long for younger audiences. We see that interesting moments are more popular on many of our channels. Everything is great for those who grew up with the current format, but there is a significant portion of the audience who only want to see the highlights.
Everything is going well right now, but that's exactly why we shouldn't rest on our laurels. We need to think about the next step," Domenicali said.
