Azerbaijani pilot Davin Jafarov participated in the open karting championship held in Portugal.
Idman.biz reports that 22 pilots from 3 countries competed for the championship in the X30 category on the Palmela international track.
Davin faced an accident in the first stage. In the semi-final, while moving at 80 km/h, another pilot coming from behind did not use the brakes in time and touched the rear tire of the kart driven by our representative. A temporary pause was created in the race.
Since no fractures or head injuries were detected in Davin Jafarov, who was taken to the hospital, the athlete was allowed to participate in the final stage with the athlete's desire and the doctors' consent.
Despite starting the final stage from 17th place, Davin managed to finish 9th in the final standings.
