Legendary "Formula 1" designer Adrian Newey has agreed to take part in a documentary about his time at Aston Martin.
Idman.Biz reports that the producers of the film will be Hollywood actor Ben Affleck and Mark Stewart, son of three-time world champion Jackie Stewart.
Adrian Newey, who joined Aston Martin as a technical partner in March of this year, will be the main character in a documentary project tentatively titled "Turbulence: The Greatest Mind in Formula 1".
"When Mark Stewart approached me about making a documentary, I was delighted, but initially unsure whether to accept. However, after the publication of my autobiography in 2017, I received numerous emails from people who were interested in the design and engineering of racing cars stemming from the book. I hope this film will reflect the passion, workflow and mental strength required to create a "Formula 1" car," - "Racing News 365" quotes Newey.
The Briton also noted that the film will explore the challenges he faced after moving to a new team ahead of major changes to "Formula 1" rules in 2026.
"This is the story of a living legend whose unprecedented career is full of ambition and constant reinvention. These are the deep human qualities that we want to showcase in our projects," said Ben Affleck, who is producing through his company "Artists Equity".
