Idman.biz reports that 2 Azerbaijani chess players of the national team faced off in the 1/32 finals today.
Our grandmasters Ulviyya Fataliyeva met with local Lela Javakhishvili, and Gulnar Mammadova with Polina Shuvalova (FIDE). Both of our chess players lost in the first match. The second game between the parties will take place tomorrow.
It should be noted that Govhar Beydullayeva and Khanim Balajayeva stopped competing in the first stage of the World Cup.
