The Chess Olympiad under 16 is ongoing at the Qusar Olympic Complex. Yesterday, the 7th round matches were held in the competition, which was also attended by representatives of Sport24.az.
The 8th round games will be held today at the 11-round Olympiad.
Among our chess players competing in group A (11-16 years old), Rahman Garayev is showing the best result so far with 4.5 points. In group B (10 years old and younger), our only chess player, Mahammad Mirzaliyev, also has 4.5 points.
