"The fight went well."
This was stated to Idman.biz by Azerbaijani kickboxer Surat Garayev.
He spoke about his last fight in the "Sensi-26" league. Garayev said that being a boxer helped him in the meeting with Oli Yves Roland from Ivory Coast in Plovdiv: "Although my opponent was strong, I came out with heart and desire. I wanted to win. And I won thanks to this desire. As soon as the fight started, my opponent started hitting my legs, wanting my legs to get weak first. But after I shook him with my hands, he "lost" both his stance and his leg. Thus, the fight turned in our favor and we won."
The athlete said that his next fight will be in boxing: "My next fight will be in Germany on July 6. We are resting now. We will start training on May 26. I will prepare as part of the national team. Training will mainly take place in Baku. We also have a World Cup in boxing in July. We will prepare with all our strength for both boxing and our professional kickboxing fight."
It should be noted that Surat Garayev's opponent in the fight to be held in Germany will be 34-year-old Colombian boxer Deivis Casseres.
