Azerbaijani kickboxer Baba Abbaszade has been disqualified for 2 years for violating anti-doping rules. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) has released information on this.
A prohibited substance was found in Abbaszade's analysis sample.
In the test sample taken from him, the substance furosemide or its metabolites, belonging to the \"S5 Diuretics and Masking Agents\" class, was detected.
The sanction will be in effect until July 2028.
