In the world championship for boxers under 19 held in Budva, Montenegro, two representatives of Azerbaijan will compete in the semifinal matches today.
Idman.Biz reports that Nihat Qasımov (55 kg) and Səfdər Məmmədzadə (+90 kg) will fight for a ticket to the final.
Qasımov will face India's representative Aditya Aditya in the semifinal. His bout will be the third fight of the evening session in Ring A.
Səfdər Məmmədzadə will meet Kazakhstan boxer Vladislav Samojonov. The Azerbaijani representative's bout is scheduled as the 10th fight on that ring.
The evening session on October 25 will start at 20:00 Baku time.
Both of our boxers have secured at least a bronze medal in the world championship by reaching the semifinals. If they win, they will earn a ticket to the decisive match for the gold medal.
