6 suspects, including 1 in Russia, have been detained as part of the investigations into the stabbing of Araz Musayev, the president of the Azerbaijan Muay Thai Federation, at the IFMA U23 Elite Muay Thai World Championship held in Kemer district of Antalya.

A large-scale investigation was launched by the District Gendarmerie Command under the instructions of the Kemer Republic Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident. Based on serious investigations and Araz Musayev's statement, the identities of the suspects were determined. Azerbaijani citizen A.H., who is alleged to be the instigator of the incident, was caught in Kemer within the framework of the investigation. A search has been launched for other suspects, citizens of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. It was determined that the suspects came to the stop in Göynük district, took a taxi and went to Antalya Airport from there.
One of the people identified as stabbing Araz Musayev was caught at Antalya Airport as a result of the pursuit. Although one person managed to escape to Russia, the person was put on the red bulletin. After contacting the security units in Russia, another suspect was caught at the airport. Work has begun for the extradition of the person. Work continues to arrest the other suspect.

After the first intervention of the medical team in the hall, he was taken to Kemer State Hospital by ambulance, and then transferred to Antalya City Hospital. It was learned that Araz Musayev was conscious and underwent surgery.
