Gamzatkhanov won a ticket to the 1/4 finals by defeating his opponent with a yuko technique in the golden score section of the tense fight.
Our other judoka Kenan Nasibov, who competed in the same weight category, faced defeat in the 1/8 finals. Our representative, who faced Losseni Kone from Germany, lost to his opponent in the golden score section and had to say goodbye to the competition early.
