In the Judo World Championship held in Baku, Azerbaijan’s team has settled in third place in the countries' medal ranking.
İdman.Biz reports that our delegation has one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals. With this result, the Azerbaijani team surpasses Georgia, Italy and other countries.
Japan leads the medal table. Asian representatives have so far won seven gold, one silver and two bronze medals.
In second place, Spain has one gold, two silver and one bronze medal.
Georgia, which has the same number of gold and silver medals as Azerbaijan, is fourth based on the number of bronze medals. Italy holds the fifth position with one silver and one bronze medal.
Note that the World Championship held in Baku will be concluded on October 11.
