Our junior judokas compete at the World Championships - UPDATED

The World Championship, which started in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, continues.

İdman.biz reports that two young judokas from Azerbaijan will fight for a bronze medal.

Mahammadali Huseynov (55 kg), although stronger than Israeli representative Tom Dubrovski in the 1/4 final, lost to the Italian judoka in the semi-final.

Although Anar Guliyev lost in the 1/4 final, he continues the fight as he won the consolation match.

Khadija Abdullayeva and Gulshan Huseynova (both 44 kg) first lost in the 1/4 final, and then in the consolation competition.

Rza Khalilili (50 kg) and Rasul Alizade (55 kg) lost in the 1/16 finals. Mahammadali Huseynov (55 kg) won in the 1/16 finals and advanced to the next stage.

It should be noted that the individual competitions at the World Championships will continue until August 30. On August 31, the fight of mixed teams will take place.
