The European Judo Union (EJU) has assessed the balance of power in the 90 kg category at the World Championships in Budapest, mentioning Azerbaijani athlete Eljan Hajiyev.
Idman.biz reports that the organization noted the names of two judokas in this category - Eljan Hajiyev and Vugar Talibov - at the World Championships, which will be held in the capital of Hungary from June 13 to 19.
It was reported that the treatment of European champion Eljan Hajiyev's injury took some time: "But now he is back, fighting, and in shape. He proved it at the Dushanbe Grand Slam, winning a gold medal. In the final, Eljan faced his teammate Vugar Talibov."
It should be noted that the main favorites of the weight are Georgian two-time Olympic champion Lasha Bekauri and Japanese Summer Games silver medalist Sanshiro Murao.
