The Azerbaijan national team has won another medal in the judo competitions of the XVIII European Youth Summer Olympic Festival (EYOF) held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
Idman.biz reports that Mohammad Agakishiyev (73 kg) distinguished himself with his successful performance.
Our judoka managed to take a place on the podium by defeating Belarusian Aleksandr Aleinikov with a golden score in the bronze medal match.
It should be noted that earlier at EYOF-2025, Azerbaijani judokas Gulshan Huseynova (44 kg), Rza Khalil (50 kg), Rasul Alizadeh (55 kg) won gold, Nurana Hajizadeh (48 kg), Zayd Alasgarov (60 kg) won silver, and Aysun Mammadova (52 kg) won bronze. Our team, with 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals, maintains its leadership in the overall team standings.
