According to the International Judo Federation's calendar, the Grand Prix tournament will be held in Guadalajara, Mexico, on October 17-19.
Idman.Biz was informed about this by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
It was reported that the men's national team will be represented in the competition by 11 judokas in seven weight categories, led by head coach Richard Trautman and senior coach Elchin Ismayilov.
Ahmad Yusifov, Balabay Aghayev (both 60 kg), Ruslan Pashayev, Yashar Najafov (both 66 kg), Hidayat Heydarov, Rashid Mammadaliyev (both 73 kg), Vusal Galandarzade, Zelim Tckaev (both 81 kg), Murad Fatiyev (90 kg), Zelim Kotsoev (100 kg) and Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg) will compete in the Grand Prix.
It should be noted that 248 athletes (154 men, 96 women) from 35 countries will participate in the three-day tournament.
