The Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF) has presented its schedule of competitions and events for April.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to the schedule, important competitions and training camps for various age groups will be held both domestically and internationally during the month.
Today and tomorrow, an official belt grading exam will be held in Ganja. This will be followed by the European Cup among juniors on April 4-5, and an international training camp for juniors on April 6-8 in the same city.
On April 13-14, a judo techniques exam for the U-14 and U-17 age groups will be held in Baku. On April 14, a competition for the ACF Cup in ne-waza among U-20 youth will be organized.
The first round of the U-17 junior league competition will be held in Baku on April 15-17. In parallel, the European Championship among adults will be held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, on April 16-19.
The second round of the U-14 junior league competition will be held in Baku on April 18-19. Towards the end of the month, regional and international events will become even more intense.
The next official belt grading exam will be held in Nakhchivan on April 25. The European Cup among juniors will be held in Berlin, Germany on April 25-26. On April 26, regional championships for the U-14 and U-17 age groups will be organized in Nakhchivan.
An international training camp for juniors will be held again in Berlin on April 27-29. A belt exam will be held in Agjabedi on April 29, and regional championships among U-14 and U-17 juniors in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur regions will be held on April 30.
Thus, April will be very rich and dynamic for Azerbaijani judo in terms of both domestic development and increasing international experience.
