Young Italian golfer Emanuel Galepini has reportedly died in a fire at a bar in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.
İdman.Biz, citing RMC Sport, reports that Emanuel Galepini was identified among the fatalities of the fire. He was only 16 years old.
The Italian Golf Federation confirmed the young athlete's death on social media.
The incident occurred on New Year's Eve. According to the Valais cantonal police, approximately 40 people died in the fire, and 115 were seriously injured.
