1997 world champion and current pundit Jacques Villeneuve has assessed the chances of four-time world champion and Red Bull driver Max Verstappen winning seven or eight Formula 1 titles.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to Villeneuve, Verstappen is the best driver in Formula 1.
"This year Verstappen has shown that he is the best driver in Formula 1 and is fully worthy of standing in the same row as Senna, Prost and Mansell. Max never gives up. He's a real fighter and always fights to the end. That's what a world champion should be," RacingNews365 quoted Villeneuve as saying.
Answering the question "Is Verstappen capable of winning seven or eight titles?", Villeneuve said:
"Let's just say he has the talent and the ability to take. If he has the chance, he will use it. So my answer to the question is "yes"."
