Max Verstappen's victory at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Formula 1 was remembered as an emotional moment.
Idman.biz, referring to the Viaplay television channel, reports that the grandmother of the Red Bull pilot could not hold back her tears while watching her grandson's success.
She watched Verstappen accept congratulations at the podium ceremony and was touched and moved.
"Of course, I saw it. It was nice to have the family there, because I don't get to see them often. Plus, we celebrated his birthday together this weekend. It was great," Verstappen said in a statement.
It should be reminded that along with the Dutch pilot, George Russell from Mercedes and Carlos Sainz, the driver of Williams, also took place on the podium.
