"Red Bull" driver Max Verstappen noted that "McLaren" drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris should be free to compete with each other. He also stated that the team should not hold back any driver with orders.
According to Idman.Biz, the British team had previously announced that it would not give preference to any driver.
