The Italian "Trident" team has announced that it has parted ways with Max Esterson and Sami Meguetounif ahead of schedule.
İdman.biz reports that new drivers will be driving the team's cars in Baku next week.
According to representatives of "Trident," the decision was made by mutual agreement of the parties. The team thanked the pilots for their work and wished them success in the future.
Currently, "Trident" is in last place in the Formula-2 team standings and has only two points scored by Meguetounif. Esterson and Meguetounif occupy 21st and 19th places in the individual ranking, respectively.
According to "Formula Scout," 19-year-old Norwegian Martinius Stenshorne (from the "McLaren" youth program) and 20-year-old Dutchman Laurens van Hoepen may join the team in Baku.
