McLaren driver Oscar Piastri has ended a 27-year drought in the Formula 1 World Championship.
Idman.biz reports that the Australian driver has won three consecutive Grand Prix events for the team.
Piastri has replicated the success achieved by Mika Hakkinen 27 years ago. The Finnish driver finished first in the last race of 1997 and the first two races of 1998.
It should be noted that Oscar, who won in Miami yesterday, previously crossed the finish line first in the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix events.
