STATEMENT regarding the change of venue for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on the Baku City Circuit

The Baku City Circuit Operating Company has clarified the news circulating about the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix being held on the artificial island in "Sea Breeze."

Arzu Huseynova, the organization's national press secretary, stated in her statement to Idman.biz that no decision has been made regarding the issue yet: "According to Azerbaijan's contract with Formula 1, the race is held on the Baku City Circuit. There are currently no updates regarding a change of venue."

It should be noted that Baku has been hosting Formula 1 races since 2017.
