Cadillac driver Sergio Perez has admitted that he was surprised by Aston Martin's weak start to the season, despite the team's strengthening.
İdman.Biz reports that after three races, Aston Martin is in last place in the championship, tied with the new Cadillac team, without scoring any points.
"To be honest, I didn't expect this. I was hoping Fernando would fight for high positions. I really believed in this project with Adrian Newey, with whom I worked together at Red Bull and Honda. But Formula 1 sometimes creates surprises like this. If we have to fight with Fernando from race to race, at least it won't be boring and we can have fun," F1oversteer quotes Perez.
