Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies spoke about the Austrian team's prospects after the change in technical regulations.
Idman.biz reports that Mekies is in favor of taking a realistic view of the situation.
"It's really Everest, but we approach it with the same strategy as the whole Red Bull company. Our company knows how to conquer it. We have everything we need to get there as quickly as possible, but we have no illusions: we don't expect to be winning already in 2026.
In modern Formula 1, only Red Bull has managed to build a team from scratch and become champion. So, of course, there are no deadlines, but we are capable of anything," said Mekies.
