McLaren driver Lando Norris set the fastest time in the second free practice session of the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Idman.Biz reports that the British driver topped the table with a time of 1:33.602, 0.029 seconds ahead of Mercedes' rising star Kimi Antonelli.
However, the objectivity of the results is questionable, as neither Max Verstappen, Oscar Piastri, nor the Ferrari drivers were able to set a fast lap on soft tires.

The session was red-flagged with 20 minutes remaining after a marshal trackside reported a possible loose manhole cover around Turn 17. As visual confirmation from camera was not received, specialist were dispatched to the area after all cars assembled in the pit lane.

Following checks the session restarted with 6 minutes remaining, but was immediately red flagged again as cars took to the track. Due to the lack of time this stoppage proved to be the effective end of the session.

The FIA released a statement clarifying that the inspection commission personnel, who continued to check the track when the session restarted, remained in position.
