"McLaren" drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri retired from the US Grand Prix sprint race after a first-lap crash.
According to Idman.Biz, teammates collided while battling for the lead in the first corner, with Piastri colliding with "Kick Sauber" driver Nico Hulkenberg and then hitting Norris. Both "McLaren" cars were significantly damaged and retired.
Piastri leads the championship standings with 336 points, while Norris is second with 314 points.
The current world champion Max Verstappen won the Austin sprint.
