There will be no sprint race at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in "Formula 1", which will be held in 2026.
"Report" informs that this is reflected in the calendar announced by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) regarding the tournament.
It will take place in stages in China, USA, Canada, Great Britain, Netherlands and Singapore. Canada, the Netherlands and Singapore will host races in this format for the first time.
It should be noted that the first sprint race was held at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in 2023, and Sergio Perez, who then played for "Red Bull", won. In 2024 and 2025, it was removed from the stage calendar.
