Seven-time "Formula 1" champion Michael Schumacher has not appeared in public for more than 12 years after falling while skiing.
According to Lent.az, meanwhile, the "Daily Mail" reports, citing several sources, that the former race driver is no longer bedridden. He can now sit in a wheelchair with the help of medical staff and move around his house.
Previously, media outlets claimed that Michael could only lie quietly and communicate with others through his eyes. However, several witnesses have stated that this is not the case.
"It is not possible to say exactly whether he understands everything, because he cannot say it. It seems that he is aware of some of what is happening around him, but probably not everything," one source said.
The "Daily Mail" also notes that the former race driver has not been seen since the accident that occurred on December 23, 2013.
