Montoya accuses Verstappen and Norris of disrespecting Formula 1

Former Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya has criticised Max Verstappen of Red Bull and Lando Norris of McLaren for their disrespectful comments about the new rules.

According to Idman.Biz, Montoya, who won seven Grand Prix during his career, is convinced that the drivers have gone too far.

"At some point Formula 1 has to do what they do in the US sports world: show the door to those who don't respect the sport. They can leave or get fined so they really learn to respect what they do. I would do the same.

It's normal for people to have their own opinions. I'm not saying they have to like it, but to make fun of Formula 1 and compare it to Mario Kart... Formula 1 shouldn't allow that," AS Colombia quotes Montoya.
