The "Mercedes" team, competing in the Formula 1 World Championship, has risen to second place in the Constructors' Championship.
According to "Report", this happened based on the results of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix held in Baku.
Team members George Russell finished second and Kimi Antonelli finished fourth.
Thus, "Mercedes" increased its score to 290 points, surpassing "Ferrari" (286 points). "McLaren" is the sole leader with 623 points.
"McLaren" driver Oscar Piastri (324 points), who caused an accident in the main race in Baku, is still in first place in the drivers' standings. His teammate Lando Norris increased his score to 299 points. The winner of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Max Verstappen ("Red Bull"), is in third place with 255 points.
