Andrea Stella, head of the McLaren Formula 1 team, spoke about the championship battle between the British team's two drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
Idman.Biz reports that after 21 rounds of the current season, Lando Norris leads the drivers' standings with 390 points. His teammate Oscar Piastri is in second place with 366 points.
"Formula 1 history is certainly a resource we use to ensure that we apply the right approach to managing our drivers who are fighting for the world championship over time," said Stella.
Four-time champion Max Verstappen ("Red Bull") is in third place with 341 points.
