The management of the "McLaren" Formula 1 team has banned Oscar Piastri from giving interviews to the Australian media ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Another insider - on condition of anonymity for fear of being fired - said he had never seen a potential world champion so openly weakened by his own team.
Another journalist said: "It's disgusting to see what's happening. It's like he's fighting with one hand tied behind his back. The team is constantly weakening him. The prejudice against Piastri is undeniable," he said.
